We can know and love God and be known and loved by God, in a way in which the animals, plants and the trees cannot. \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>2)    Another capacity that we have is moral. We can know the good and the evil and do the good and evil in a way that animals, trees and plants cannot.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>3)    The third capacity is our rational capacity. We can use our intellect in a way the rest of the created order cannot. You maybe instead for example in the sciences, the reason that you can enjoy those subject matters and the reason you can use these rational capacities is because God created you in his image and likeness.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>4)    The fourth capacity is creativity. The reason you can use your imagination and enjoy things like movies, music literature, architecture, graphic design, is because God gave you those creative capacity and those are a part of being made in the image and likeness of God.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>5)    A fifth capacity is relationality. If you like people or are able to relate maybe you’re in a sales profession or a teacher or something like this, the reason you can relate to other people on the level and the depth and the breath that you can is because you are made in the image of God.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>One thing to notice is that at the time of creation Adam and Eve, man and woman had excellent relationships with:  \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>-       God\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>-       Each other \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>-       The created order\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>-       Themselves\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cb>II.             \u003C\u002Fb>\u003Cb>\u003Cu>THE FALL\u003C\u002Fu>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>In this plot movement we learn the very first man and woman who ever lived Adam and Eve decided to rebel against God. When they rebelled against God and set themselves up as autonomous or independent from God they lost their relationship with God. Their relationship with God was broken and because of this broken relationship the image of God in man was distorted and defaced.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Ci>FIVE CAPACITIES AFFECTED:\u003C\u002Fi>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>1.     Spiritually our relationship with God is broken. \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>2.    Morally we can no longer do the good. \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>3.     Rationally we have difficulty discerning the truth and in particular it is impossible for us to discern spiritual truth.  \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>4.     \u003Cspan>Creatively we use our imaginative and creative capacity to make idols and worship them instead of \u003Cu>­­­­\u003C\u002Fu>worshipping God.  \u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>5.     And relational we tend to love ourselves. \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cspan> \u003Ci>FOUR RELATIONSHIPS BROKEN\u003C\u002Fi>\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003Ci>:  \u003C\u002Fi>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>-       \u003Cspan>We are \u003Cb>ENEMIES\u003C\u002Fb> of \u003Cu>­­­­\u003C\u002Fu>God. \u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>-       \u003Cspan> Our relationship with others is \u003Cb>BROKEN\u003C\u002Fb> and is manifested in all sorts of interpersonal and societal badness. \u003C\u002Fspan>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>-       \u003Cspan>Or relationship with the created order is broken as there is \u003Cb>NO LONGER\u003C\u002Fb> this\u003Cb> \u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fspan>perfect and mutually interdependence.\u003Cb>      \u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>-       \u003Cspan>Finally man’s relationship with himself is broken as we find ourselves \u003Cb>ALIENATED\u003C\u002Fb> from our true selves.\u003C\u002Fspan>\u003Cb> \u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cb>III.           \u003C\u002Fb>\u003Cb>\u003Cu>REDEMPTION\u003C\u002Fu>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>The third plot movement is redemption. In Genesis chapter 3 immediately after the first man and woman sinned God promised to send a savior, a Messiah, a redeemer to crush and destroy sin and Satan and death and bring salvation to God’s image bearers who had now lost their relationship with him. When we come to the gospel we find out that this saviors name is Jesus.  \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Ci>PROPHECIES OF MESSIAH\u003C\u002Fi>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>-       He was born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14) \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>-       Taught God’s truth perfectly (Psalms 78:1-5)\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>-       Lived God’s moral law perfectly (Isaiah 53:9)\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>-       Demonstrated power over sin, sickness and death and even demons. (Isaiah 35:5-6, 53:8)\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>But most importantly what he did was he gave his life for us. The Scriptures teach us that when Jesus step under that cross and was crucified, that he was taking the sins of the world onto his shoulders so that we might be saved.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>The good news for you is when you believe on him you have union with God and life everlasting. We have the opportunity to be a part of a worldwide community of believers, believers both living and dead that span the ages of history and the entire reach of the globe, believers who are being redeemed in all of their capacities. \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Ci>REDEMPTION OF ALL OUR CAPACITIES\u003C\u002Fi>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>- He is redeeming us spiritually, He has declared us righteous because of the work of His Son. \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>- He is redeeming us morally, we can now do the good.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>- Rationally we can now discern the truth. \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>- Creatively we can now use our imaginative capacity to worship Him.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>- Relationally we know how to love others based upon the love of Christ for us.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cb>IV.          \u003C\u002Fb>\u003Cb>\u003Cu>NEW CREATION\u003C\u002Fu>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>The fourth plot movement is new creation.  In this plot movement we learn Jesus will come again and when he comes again he will bring with him a new heaven and new earth where everything will be made right.  We also learn that on this new heaven and earth on this new universe there will be worshippers from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.  In other words there is something so profoundly true and so comprehensively good and so strikingly beautiful about our God that he will be found worthy of worship by every type of person who has ever lived.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cu>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fu>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cu>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fu>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cu>APPLICATION QUESTIONS\u003C\u002Fu>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>1.     From a Christian worldview who and why are we accountable to someone? En pocas palabras, no había nada y luego había algo y es Dios quien lo creó. En la narrativa de la creación hay dos frases que se usan una y otra vez y el autor las usa como dispositivos de encuadre.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>1. La primera frase es \"Y Dios dijo\", así que cuando Dios creó algo de la nada y luego cuando creó algo en el mundo que ahora vemos, usó su palabra para hacerlo.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>2. La segunda frase es \"y fue bueno\". Después de cada uno de los actos creados por Dios, se nos dice que la creación de Dios fue buena.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>Entonces vemos el mundo que Dios nos dio un buen mundo. En el apogeo de la creación de Dios está el hombre y la mujer. Aprendemos en Génesis capítulo 1: 26-27 que Dios creó al hombre y a la mujer a su imagen y semejanza.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>MANERAS DE SER COMO DIOS\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>1) La forma principal en que somos como Dios es espiritual. Podemos conocer y amar a Dios y ser conocidos y amados por Dios, de una manera que los animales, las plantas y los árboles no pueden.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>2) Otra capacidad que tenemos es moral. Podemos conocer el bien y el mal y hacer el bien y el mal de una manera que los animales, los árboles y las plantas no pueden.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>3) La tercera capacidad es nuestra capacidad racional. Podemos usar nuestro intelecto de una manera que el resto del orden creado no puede. Tal vez, por ejemplo, en las ciencias, la razón por la que puede disfrutar de esos temas y la razón por la que puede usar estas capacidades racionales es porque Dios lo creó a su imagen y semejanza.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>4) La cuarta capacidad es la creatividad. La razón por la que puedes usar tu imaginación y disfrutar cosas como películas, literatura musical, arquitectura, diseño gráfico, es porque Dios te dio esa capacidad creativa y eso es parte de ser creado a imagen y semejanza de Dios.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>5) Una quinta capacidad es la relacionalidad. Si te gustan las personas o eres capaz de relacionarte, tal vez estés en una profesión de ventas o un maestro o algo así, la razón por la que puedes relacionarte con otras personas en el nivel y la profundidad y la respiración que puedes es porque estás hecho a imagen de Dios\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>Una cosa a tener en cuenta es que en el momento de la creación, Adán y Eva, el hombre y la mujer tenían excelentes relaciones con:\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>Dios\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>-       El uno al otro\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>- El orden creado\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>- ellos mismos\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>II LA CAÍDA\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>En este movimiento de la trama aprendemos que el primer hombre y mujer que vivió Adán y Eva decidió rebelarse contra Dios. Cuando se rebelaron contra Dios y se erigieron en autónomos o independientes de Dios, perdieron su relación con Dios. Su relación con Dios se rompió y debido a esta relación rota, la imagen de Dios en el hombre fue distorsionada y desfigurada.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>CINCO CAPACIDADES AFECTADAS:\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>1. Espiritualmente nuestra relación con Dios está rota.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>2. Moralmente ya no podemos hacer el bien.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>3. Racionalmente tenemos dificultades para discernir la verdad y, en particular, es imposible para nosotros discernir la verdad espiritual.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>4. Creativamente usamos nuestra capacidad imaginativa y creativa para hacer ídolos y adorarlos en lugar de adorar a Dios.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>5. Y relacional tendemos a amarnos a nosotros mismos.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F> CUATRO RELACIONES ROTAS:\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>- Somos ENEMIGOS de Dios.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>- Nuestra relación con los demás está ROTA y se manifiesta en todo tipo de males interpersonales y sociales.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>- O la relación con el orden creado se rompe, ya NO existe esta interdependencia perfecta y mutua.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>- Finalmente, la relación del hombre consigo mismo se rompe cuando nos encontramos ALIENADOS de nuestro verdadero ser.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>III. REDENCIÓN\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>El tercer movimiento de la trama es la redención. En Génesis capítulo 3, inmediatamente después de que el primer hombre y la mujer pecaron, Dios prometió enviar un salvador, un Mesías, un redentor para aplastar y destruir el pecado y Satanás y la muerte y llevar la salvación a los portadores de la imagen de Dios que ahora habían perdido su relación con él. Cuando llegamos al evangelio descubrimos que el nombre de este salvador es Jesús.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>PROFECÍAS DE MESÍAS\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>- Él nació de una virgen (Isaías 7:14)\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>- Enseñó la verdad de Dios perfectamente (Salmos 78: 1-5)\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>- Vivió la ley moral de Dios perfectamente (Isaías 53: 9)\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>- Poder demostrado sobre el pecado, la enfermedad y la muerte e incluso demonios. Nous pouvons utiliser notre intellect d’une manière que le reste de l’ordre créé ne peut pas. Vous le faites peut-être par exemple dans les sciences, la raison pour laquelle vous pouvez apprécier ces matières et la raison pour laquelle vous pouvez utiliser ces capacités rationnelles est parce que Dieu vous a créé à son image et à sa ressemblance.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>4)    La quatrième capacité est la créativité. La raison pour laquelle vous pouvez utiliser votre imagination et apprécier des choses comme les films, la musique, la littérature, l’architecture, le design graphique, c’est parce que Dieu vous a donné ces capacités créatives et qu’elles font partie du fait d’être fait à l’image et à la ressemblance de Dieu.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>5)    Une cinquième capacité est la relationalité. Quand ils se rebellèrent contre Dieu et s’établirent comme autonomes ou indépendants de Dieu, ils perdirent leur relation avec Dieu. Dans Genèse chapitre 3, immédiatement après que le premier homme et la première femme eurent péché, Dieu promit d’envoyer un sauveur, un Messie, un rédempteur pour écraser et détruire le péché, Satan et la mort et apporter le salut aux porteurs de l’image de Dieu qui avaient maintenant perdu leur relation avec lui. When we get even closer, we see thousands of home-grown religious practices found in the different people groups over the centuries. Many in our westernized culture would prefer not to be a part of a religious group. They claim that they are spiritual, but that they are not religious.\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>What is it that they really mean? Historical and archeological evidence shows that people have always looked for something that is greater than they are. Historical records reveal that in every culture, there has been some type of belief in a supernatural power. This is just one example that reveals that there is something inside of every person that seeks something beyond ourselves. If we really want to understand other world religions, we need to take a step back and do our best to learn about the different worldviews that these religions represent. The following are only brief definitions of the worldviews from which all regions stem:\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Theism – the belief in the existence of a supreme  Being (God)\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Atheism – the view that does not believe in the existence of a God\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp> Polytheism –the view that there are many gods, which contradicts the idea of a supreme Being\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp> Pantheism – the worldview that God is all things, in other words everything is God\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Agnosticism – the view that one cannot truly know if there is a God\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Henotheism – the belief that there is one god who is above other gods\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Monotheism – the view that only one God exists\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>A popular worldview in the West is that there is one Supreme Being or “force” that everyone seeks. Every religion is an expression of the spiritual search for this force.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>This belief in a one force or Supreme Being is a monotheistic concept. This means that there is one main god that rules over all creation. Many people believe that all the different religions are personal ideas of how to tap into this one cosmic god-force. The word for this type of idea is called “pluralism.” For instance, many believe that someone like the Dali Lama has found the path to this force.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>People seek out the Dali Lama for advice and words of wisdom so that they can be closer to finding eternal peace. The idea of coexisting comes from this thought that everyone is seeking the same god and that all faiths are equally true and will lead to eternal bliss. You will find that everyone wants to live a peaceful existence instead of one filled with conflict. People everywhere have a similar desired code of values. These values are believed to help a society to be at peace if obeyed. They are as follows:\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Be fair to others\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Do not murder\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Nurture the children in the community\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Do not steal from each other\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Obey your parents and honor the older generations\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp> Do not lie \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp> Love each other and be at peace\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>When people break any of these values or rules it causes a disturbance in the community. This disturbance will then cause unrest. The unrest will create stress and tension between individuals. People throughout history have tried to follow these rules, but have failed miserably. The way that people try to follow the above values will reflect what each person believes about God.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>This is where religion steps in. It is also where a person’s core beliefs about life and God are seen. Religion means different things to different people, so for our purposes we will use a basic definition from world religions’ scholar, Winifred Corduan.  He states that; a religion is a system of beliefs and practices that directs a person toward the spiritual and thus provides meaning and understanding to a person’s life.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>A quick look at the reality around us will reveal that there is harmony between people until they are faced with an outside conflict. This means that everything is peaceful as long as everyone agrees with each other. Unfortunately, no one agrees with everyone else all of the time. Our environment is the major cause for disunity between individuals and communities. Not everyone has the same amount of money. Not everyone thinks alike. There are only a certain amount of natural resources. All of these things cause problems for people and between people.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>It is in the midst of strife that people begin to reflect on the purpose of their existence as they struggle to survive and understand the meaning of life. It’s not unusual to find that many people throughout history have used religious practices as tools in their attempt to change the different situations in their life. A person who turns to religion as a way to change their circumstances sees religion as functional. In other words, they will seek God when they feel that their troubles are beyond their ability to help themselves.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>A functional view of religion is very different from the view that seeks a religion for the truth claims that it makes. It seems natural for humans to only seek God when things get bad for them. For instance, in the Christian Bible, the God of Israel warns the people that once they are living comfortable lives, they will forget how He has cared for and guided them for many years (Deut. 8:10-20). Human nature has not changed. When people find themselves in trouble, they seek out some sort of supernatural help. When people become desperate they may even begin to make wild promises to change the way that they live if their demands are met. Once they are cured or saved from whatever their problem was, they conveniently forget about God and continue living as they had been.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>For the person who thinks that religions are nothing more than a set of rituals that will do something for them in the end, it will seem that all religions are simply different was of seeking the same end results. However, this is a false view of God. This is only a surface view because religions are very different from each other, at the core. If we are honest about it, deep down we are all seeking the answers to life’s big questions.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Why am I here?\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Why is anything here?\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Is there really an Ultimate Being (God)?\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Does this God interact with His creation?\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Who is Jesus?\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>What happens when I die?\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Why would I need to be “saved”?\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The way that we answer these questions is in the differences of the various religions.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Buddhism says there is no God – only a return to being at one with the universe (like a drop of water blending back into an ocean).\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Hinduism claims there are many gods and Brahman is in everything and in each person, they only need to rediscover that inner god in order to reach the state of nirvana (eternal bliss).\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Major monotheistic faiths (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam) do believe in one supreme God. But, out of the three monotheistic religions only Christianity recognizes the human plight of original sin.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The Bible is full of examples of how humanity falls far short of the perfection that people see as the standard code of values mentioned above. There is a deep sense inside of all people that we are sinful. Sin is something that people don’t want to talk about. Everyone would rather believe that humans are innately “good” and are simply prone to make mistakes. Unfortunately, we only need to look around at the real world to see that the problems that plague humanity stem from much more than people making mistakes. Crimes against humanity come in many different disguises. The sneakiest crimes are those that are protected by government legislation under the pretense of equal rights.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Only Christianity recognizes the sinfulness of humankind and sees it for what it truly is (bondage). The human soul is locked into a constant state of turmoil because we are always bothered by something or someone in our lives. The Bible points out that the human mind is forever scheming (Gen. 6:5; Jer. 17:9). Sin in its most basic definition means to miss the mark (as an archer might miss the bull’s eye). Even if we do everything that seems righteous to the outside world, we cannot escape our own thoughts (James 1:14-16, 4:1). If we cannot escape our sinful selves then how will we ever achieve the perfection expected by a just God?\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>How will we ever attain freedom from our own selves? This is where the separation between Christianity and all other religions becomes the most evident. Unlike all other religions, Christianity makes truth claims that are grounded in reality and not personal opinions. All other religions are based on some form of works-type system. Christianity is based on a trusting faith (not to be confused with a blind-faith) (Gal. 2:16).\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Christianity does not rely on a set of rituals and “good deeds” to save someone from hell, like other religions do. God set down his guidelines that are recorded in the Bible to convict (point out) us of sin. There is no way anyone can follow his expectations of perfection because of the sin inside of us (Rom. 3:20). His expectations are there because God, as Creator, knows how we are formed and that any change from his guidelines will cause pain and strife in our lives. Our sin may also lead others into sinful behavior. Sin is bondage and ultimately leads to death (James 1:15). It leads to death because it cuts us off from the source of life, God.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Because God is absolutely perfect, He is absolutely just as well. Any deviation from His guidelines represents our rejection of Him. When we reject God, we sin against Him. If God is to judge justly, there will be no favoritism in the end (Gal. 2:6). A Christian’s good works should represent their love for God, not to gain any advantage in His kingdom. The Creator cannot be manipulated. God calls us to love him (Deut. 6:5-9) because he desires a one-on-one relationship with him.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The better we know God the more we understand his ways. The better we know God the more we are aware of his love for us. The better we know God the more we love Him for who he is, and begin to live to please Him. Because of humanity’s tendency to sin, it was necessary for God to send a Savior because we are unable to redeem ourselves. Jesus is God’s offer of salvation to the world, but people are required to respond by coming to know God through Christ (John 6:44, 14:6-8), and that requires reading Scripture as you seek understanding.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>No other religion recognizes innate sin. Other religions do not see that we continually sin against our Creator by rejecting his ways. If there is no human depravity then there is no need for a Savior. If there is no need for a Savior, then a person is left with a system of works to make their own way to heaven. Sin embargo, si nos acercamos para ver más de cerca, vemos cientos de religiones que representan ramas de esos religiosos principales. Cuando nos acercamos aún más, vemos miles de prácticas religiosas locales que se encuentran en los diferentes grupos de personas a lo largo de los siglos. Muchos en nuestra cultura occidentalizada preferirían no ser parte de un grupo religioso. Afirman que son espirituales, pero que no son religiosos.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Qué es lo que realmente quieren decir? La evidencia histórica y arqueológica muestra que las personas siempre han buscado algo que sea mayor de lo que son. Los registros históricos revelan que en cada cultura, ha habido algún tipo de creencia en un poder sobrenatural. Este es solo un ejemplo que revela que hay algo dentro de cada persona que busca algo más allá de nosotros mismos. Si realmente queremos entender otras religiones del mundo, debemos dar un paso atrás y hacer todo lo posible para aprender sobre las diferentes cosmovisiones que representan estas religiones. Esto significa que hay un dios principal que gobierna sobre toda la creación. Mucha gente cree que todas las diferentes religiones son ideas personales de cómo aprovechar esta fuerza divina cósmica. La palabra para este tipo de idea se llama \"pluralismo\". Por ejemplo, muchos creen que alguien como el Dali Lama ha encontrado el camino hacia esta fuerza.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>La gente busca al Dali Lama en busca de consejos y palabras de sabiduría para poder estar más cerca de encontrar la paz eterna. La idea de coexistir proviene de este pensamiento de que todos buscan al mismo dios y que todas las religiones son igualmente verdaderas y conducirán a la dicha eterna. Encontrará que todos quieren vivir una existencia pacífica en lugar de una llena de conflictos. Las personas en todas partes tienen un código de valores deseado similar. Se cree que estos valores ayudan a una sociedad a estar en paz si se obedecen. Esta perturbación causará disturbios. Los disturbios crearán estrés y tensión entre las personas. Las personas a lo largo de la historia han tratado de seguir estas reglas, pero han fallado miserablemente. La forma en que las personas tratan de seguir los valores anteriores reflejará lo que cada persona cree acerca de Dios.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>Aquí es donde interviene la religión. También es donde se ven las creencias centrales de una persona sobre la vida y Dios. La religión significa diferentes cosas para diferentes personas, por lo que para nuestros propósitos usaremos una definición básica del erudito de las religiones del mundo, Winifred Corduan. Él dice que; Una religión es un sistema de creencias y prácticas que dirige a una persona hacia lo espiritual y, por lo tanto, proporciona significado y comprensión a la vida de una persona.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>Un vistazo rápido a la realidad que nos rodea revelará que hay armonía entre las personas hasta que se enfrentan a un conflicto externo. Esto significa que todo está en paz siempre y cuando todos estén de acuerdo. Desafortunadamente, nadie está de acuerdo con todos los demás todo el tiempo. Nuestro entorno es la principal causa de desunión entre las personas y las comunidades. No todos tienen la misma cantidad de dinero. No todos piensan igual. Parece natural que los humanos solo busquen a Dios cuando las cosas se ponen malas para ellos. Por ejemplo, en la Biblia cristiana, el Dios de Israel advierte a las personas que una vez que vivan vidas cómodas, olvidarán cómo los ha cuidado y guiado durante muchos años (Deut. 8: 10-20). La naturaleza humana no ha cambiado. Cuando las personas se encuentran en problemas, buscan algún tipo de ayuda sobrenatural. Cuando las personas se desesperan, incluso pueden comenzar a hacer promesas salvajes para cambiar la forma en que viven si se cumplen sus demandas. Una vez que se curan o se salvan de cualquier problema, se olvidan convenientemente de Dios y continúan viviendo como lo habían sido.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>Para la persona que piensa que las religiones no son más que un conjunto de rituales que harán algo por ellos al final, parecerá que todas las religiones son simplemente diferentes, fue buscar los mismos resultados finales. Sin embargo, esta es una visión falsa de Dios. Esta es solo una vista superficial porque las religiones son muy diferentes entre sí, en el núcleo. Si somos honestos al respecto, en el fondo todos estamos buscando las respuestas a las grandes preguntas de la vida.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Por qué estoy aquí?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Por qué hay algo aquí?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Existe realmente un ser supremo (Dios)?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Este Dios interactúa con su creación?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Quién es Jesús?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Qué pasa cuando muero?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Por qué necesitaría ser \"salvado\"?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>La forma en que respondemos estas preguntas es en las diferencias de las diversas religiones.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>El budismo dice que no hay Dios, solo un retorno a ser uno con el universo (como una gota de agua que se mezcla en un océano).\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>El hinduismo afirma que hay muchos dioses y que Brahman está en todo y en cada persona, solo necesitan redescubrir a ese dios interno para alcanzar el estado de nirvana (felicidad eterna).\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>Las principales religiones monoteístas (judaísmo, cristianismo e islam) creen en un Dios supremo. Pero, de las tres religiones monoteístas, solo el cristianismo reconoce la difícil situación humana del pecado original.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>La Biblia está llena de ejemplos de cómo la humanidad está muy por debajo de la perfección que la gente ve como el código estándar de valores mencionado anteriormente. Hay un profundo sentido dentro de todas las personas de que somos pecadores. El pecado es algo de lo que la gente no quiere hablar. Todos preferirían creer que los humanos son innatamente \"buenos\" y simplemente son propensos a cometer errores. Desafortunadamente, solo necesitamos mirar el mundo real para ver que los problemas que afectan a la humanidad provienen de mucho más que las personas que cometen errores. Los crímenes contra la humanidad vienen en muchos disfraces diferentes. Los crímenes más furtivos son aquellos que están protegidos por la legislación del gobierno con el pretexto de la igualdad de derechos.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>Solo el cristianismo reconoce la pecaminosidad de la humanidad y la ve por lo que realmente es (esclavitud). El alma humana está encerrada en un estado constante de confusión porque siempre nos molesta algo o alguien en nuestras vidas. La Biblia señala que la mente humana siempre está tramando (Génesis 6: 5; Jer. 17: 9). El pecado en su definición más básica significa perder la marca (como un arquero podría perder el ojo del toro). Incluso si hacemos todo lo que parece justo para el mundo exterior, no podemos escapar de nuestros propios pensamientos (Santiago 1: 14-16, 4: 1). Si no podemos escapar de nuestro ser pecaminoso, ¿cómo lograremos la perfección esperada por un Dios justo?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Cómo lograremos liberarnos de nosotros mismos? Aquí es donde la separación entre el cristianismo y todas las demás religiones se vuelve más evidente. A diferencia de todas las demás religiones, el cristianismo hace afirmaciones de verdad que se basan en la realidad y no en opiniones personales. Todas las demás religiones se basan en alguna forma de sistema de tipo de obras. El cristianismo se basa en una fe de confianza (que no debe confundirse con una fe ciega) (Gálatas 2:16).\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>El cristianismo no se basa en un conjunto de rituales y \"buenas obras\" para salvar a alguien del infierno, como hacen otras religiones. Dios estableció sus pautas que están registradas en la Biblia para condenarnos (señalarnos) del pecado. No hay forma de que alguien pueda seguir sus expectativas de perfección debido al pecado dentro de nosotros (Rom. 3:20). Sus expectativas están ahí porque Dios, como Creador, sabe cómo estamos formados y que cualquier cambio de sus pautas causará dolor y conflictos en nuestras vidas. Nuestro pecado también puede conducir a otros a un comportamiento pecaminoso. El pecado es esclavitud y finalmente conduce a la muerte (Santiago 1:15). Lleva a la muerte porque nos separa de la fuente de la vida, Dios.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>Porque Dios es absolutamente perfecto, Él es absolutamente igual de bueno. Cualquier desviación de sus pautas representa nuestro rechazo de él. Cuando rechazamos a Dios, pecamos contra Él. Si Dios ha de juzgar con justicia, al final no habrá favoritismo (Gálatas 2: 6). Las buenas obras de un cristiano deben representar su amor por Dios, no para obtener ninguna ventaja en su reino. El Creador no puede ser manipulado. Dios nos llama a amarlo (Deut. 6: 5-9) porque desea una relación personal con él.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>Cuanto mejor conocemos a Dios, más entendemos sus caminos. Cuanto mejor conocemos a Dios, más conscientes somos de su amor por nosotros. Cuanto mejor conocemos a Dios, más lo amamos por lo que es, y comenzamos a vivir para complacerlo. Debido a la tendencia de la humanidad a pecar, fue necesario que Dios enviara un Salvador porque no podemos redimirnos. Jesús es la oferta de salvación de Dios para el mundo, pero se requiere que las personas respondan conociendo a Dios a través de Cristo (Juan 6:44, 14: 6-8), y eso requiere leer las Escrituras a medida que buscas comprensión.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>Ninguna otra religión reconoce el pecado innato. Otras religiones no ven que continuamente pecamos contra nuestro Creador al rechazar sus caminos. Si no hay depravación humana, entonces no hay necesidad de un Salvador. Si no hay necesidad de un Salvador, entonces una persona se queda con un sistema de obras para llegar al cielo. Les preuves historiques et archéologiques montrent que les gens ont toujours cherché quelque chose de plus grand qu’eux-mêmes. Les archives historiques révèlent que, dans chaque culture, il y a eu une forme de croyance en un pouvoir surnaturel. C’est un exemple qui révèle qu’il y a quelque chose, à l’intérieur de chaque personne, qui cherche quelque chose au-delà de nous-mêmes. Si nous voulons vraiment comprendre les autres religions du monde, nous devons prendre du recul et faire de notre mieux pour apprendre les différentes visions du monde que ces religions représentent. C’est aussi là que se révèlent les croyances fondamentales d’une personne sur la vie et sur Dieu. La religion signifie des choses différentes pour des personnes différentes ; c’est pourquoi, pour nos besoins, nous utiliserons une définition de base donnée par le spécialiste des religions du monde, Winifred Corduan. Il affirme qu’une religion est un système de croyances et de pratiques qui oriente une personne vers le spirituel et lui fournit ainsi un sens et une compréhension de sa vie.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Un rapide regard sur la réalité qui nous entoure révélera qu’il y a harmonie entre les gens tant qu’ils ne sont pas confrontés à un conflit extérieur. Cela signifie que tout est paisible tant que tout le monde est d’accord les uns avec les autres. Malheureusement, personne n’est d’accord avec tout le monde tout le temps. Notre environnement est la principale cause de désunion entre les individus et les communautés. Tout le monde n’a pas la même quantité d’argent. Tout le monde ne pense pas de la même manière. Il n’y a qu’une certaine quantité de ressources naturelles. Toutes ces choses posent des problèmes aux gens et entre les gens.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>C’est au milieu des conflits que les gens commencent à réfléchir au but de leur existence alors qu’ils luttent pour survivre et comprendre le sens de la vie. Il n’est pas rare de constater que beaucoup de gens, tout au long de l’histoire, ont utilisé les pratiques religieuses comme des outils dans leur tentative de changer les différentes situations de leur vie. Une personne qui se tourne vers la religion pour changer ses circonstances voit la religion comme fonctionnelle. Autrement dit, elle cherchera Dieu lorsqu’elle estimera que ses problèmes dépassent sa capacité à s’aider elle-même.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Une vision fonctionnelle de la religion est très différente de celle qui cherche une religion pour les affirmations de vérité qu’elle émet. Il semble naturel pour les humains de ne chercher Dieu que lorsque les choses vont mal pour eux. Par exemple, dans la Bible chrétienne, le Dieu d’Israël avertit le peuple que, une fois qu’ils vivront dans le confort, ils oublieront comment Il a pris soin d’eux et les a guidés pendant de nombreuses années (Deut. 8:10-20). La nature humaine n’a pas changé. Lorsque les gens se retrouvent en difficulté, ils cherchent une sorte d’aide surnaturelle. Lorsque les gens deviennent désespérés, ils peuvent même commencer à faire des promesses extravagantes de changer leur façon de vivre si leurs demandes sont exaucées. Une fois qu’ils sont guéris ou sauvés de leur problème, ils oublient commodément Dieu et continuent à vivre comme avant.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Pour la personne qui pense que les religions ne sont rien d’autre qu’un ensemble de rituels qui lui apporteront quelque chose à la fin, il semblera que toutes les religions ne sont que des moyens différents de rechercher les mêmes résultats. Cependant, c’est une fausse vision de Dieu. Ce n’est qu’une vue superficielle, car les religions sont très différentes les unes des autres, au fond. Mais, parmi ces trois religions monothéistes, seul le christianisme reconnaît la condition humaine du péché originel.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>La Bible regorge d’exemples montrant comment l’humanité s’écarte largement de la perfection que les gens considèrent comme le code de valeurs standard mentionné plus haut. Il y a un sentiment profond en chaque personne que nous sommes pécheurs. Le péché est quelque chose dont les gens ne veulent pas parler. Tout le monde préférerait croire que les humains sont « bons » par nature et simplement enclins à commettre des erreurs. Malheureusement, il suffit de regarder le monde réel pour voir que les problèmes qui affligent l’humanité proviennent de bien plus que de simples erreurs. Les crimes contre l’humanité prennent de nombreuses formes différentes. Les plus sournois sont ceux qui sont protégés par la législation gouvernementale sous prétexte d’égalité des droits.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Seul le christianisme reconnaît la nature pécheresse de l’humanité et la voit telle qu’elle est vraiment (une servitude). L’âme humaine est enfermée dans un état constant de tourmente parce que nous sommes toujours dérangés par quelque chose ou quelqu’un dans nos vies. La Bible souligne que l’esprit humain est toujours en train de comploter (Gen. 6:5 ; Jér. 17:9). Le péché, dans sa définition la plus élémentaire, signifie manquer la cible (comme un archer qui manque le centre de la cible). Même si nous faisons tout ce qui semble juste aux yeux du monde extérieur, nous ne pouvons échapper à nos propres pensées (Jacques 1:14-16, 4:1). Si nous ne pouvons pas échapper à notre moi pécheur, comment pourrons-nous jamais atteindre la perfection exigée par un Dieu juste ?\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Comment parviendrons-nous jamais à la liberté par rapport à nous-mêmes ? C’est ici que la séparation entre le christianisme et toutes les autres religions devient la plus évidente. Contrairement à toutes les autres religions, le christianisme fait des affirmations de vérité ancrées dans la réalité et non dans des opinions personnelles. Toutes les autres religions reposent sur une forme de système fondé sur les œuvres. Le christianisme repose sur une foi de confiance (à ne pas confondre avec une foi aveugle) (Gal. 2:16).\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Le christianisme ne s’appuie pas sur un ensemble de rituels et de « bonnes actions » pour sauver quelqu’un de l’enfer, comme le font les autres religions. Dieu a établi Ses directives, consignées dans la Bible, pour nous convaincre (nous montrer) de notre péché. Il est impossible pour quiconque de répondre à Ses attentes de perfection à cause du péché qui est en nous (Rom. 3:20). Ses attentes existent parce que Dieu, en tant que Créateur, sait comment nous sommes formés et que tout écart par rapport à Ses directives causera de la douleur et des conflits dans nos vies. Notre péché peut aussi entraîner d’autres personnes dans un comportement pécheur. Le péché est une servitude et conduit finalement à la mort (Jacques 1:15). Il conduit à la mort parce qu’il nous coupe de la source de la vie, Dieu.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Parce que Dieu est absolument parfait, Il est aussi absolument juste. Tout écart par rapport à Ses directives représente notre rejet de Lui. Lorsque nous rejetons Dieu, nous péchons contre Lui. Si Dieu doit juger avec justice, il n’y aura pas de favoritisme à la fin (Gal. 2:6). Les bonnes œuvres d’un chrétien doivent représenter son amour pour Dieu, et non servir à obtenir un avantage dans Son royaume. Le Créateur ne peut être manipulé. Dieu nous appelle à L’aimer (Deut. 6:5-9) parce qu’Il désire une relation personnelle avec nous.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Plus nous connaissons Dieu, plus nous comprenons Ses voies. Plus nous connaissons Dieu, plus nous sommes conscients de Son amour pour nous. Plus nous connaissons Dieu, plus nous L’aimons pour ce qu’Il est, et nous commençons à vivre pour Lui plaire. À cause de la tendance de l’humanité à pécher, il a été nécessaire que Dieu envoie un Sauveur, car nous sommes incapables de nous racheter nous-mêmes. Jésus est l’offre de salut de Dieu au monde, mais les gens doivent y répondre en venant à connaître Dieu par Christ (Jean 6:44, 14:6-8), ce qui nécessite de lire les Écritures tout en cherchant la compréhension.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>Aucune autre religion ne reconnaît le péché inné. S'il n'y a pas besoin d'un Sauveur, alors une personne se retrouve avec un système d'œuvres pour se frayer son propre chemin vers le ciel. 편리하게 하나님을 잊고 이전처럼 살아갑니다.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Cbr>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>종교가 결국 자신에게 무엇인가를 해주는 일련의 의식에 불과하다고 생각하는 사람에게는 모든 종교가 동일한 결과를 추구하는 서로 다른 방식처럼 보일 것입니다. 그러나 이것은 하나님에 계략을 꾸민다고 지적합니다(창 6:5; 렘 17:9). 죄의 가장 기본적인 정의는 과녁을 맞히지 못하는 것(궁수가 과녁의 중심을 맞히지 못하는 것처럼)입니다. 우리가 겉으로 보기에 의로운 모든 것을 행한다 할지라도, 우리는 우리 자신의 생각에서 벗어날 수 없습니다(약 1:14-16, 4:1). 우리가 죄 많은 자신에게서 벗어날 수 없다면 어떻게 공의로우신 사랑하게 되고, 그분을 기쁘시게 하기 위해 살기 시작합니다. 인류의 죄의 경향 때문에, 우리가 우리 자신을 구속할 수 없기 때문에 하나님께서 구주를 보내시는 것이 필요했습니다. 예수님은 세상에 대한 하나님의 구원의 제안이시지만, 사람들은 그리스도를 통해 하나님을 알아야 하는 응답을 해야 합니다(요 6:44, 14:6-8). 그리고 그것은 이해를 구하며 We can know and love God and be known and loved by God, in a way in which the animals, plants and the trees cannot. \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>2)    Another capacity that we have is moral. We can know the good and the evil and do the good and evil in a way that animals, trees and plants cannot.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>3)    The third capacity is our rational capacity. We can use our intellect in a way the rest of the created order cannot. You maybe instead for example in the sciences, the reason that you can enjoy those subject matters and the reason you can use these rational capacities is because God created you in his image and likeness.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>4)    The fourth capacity is creativity. The reason you can use your imagination and enjoy things like movies, music literature, architecture, graphic design, is because God gave you those creative capacity and those are a part of being made in the image and likeness of God.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>5)    A fifth capacity is relationality. If you like people or are able to relate maybe you’re in a sales profession or a teacher or something like this, the reason you can relate to other people on the level and the depth and the breath that you can is because you are made in the image of God.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>One thing to notice is that at the time of creation Adam and Eve, man and woman had excellent relationships with: \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>-       God\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>-       Each other\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>-       The created order\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>-       Themselves\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>II.             \u003C\u002Fb>\u003Cb>\u003Cu>THE FALL\u003C\u002Fu>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>In this plot movement we learn the very first man and woman who ever lived Adam and Eve decided to rebel against God. When they rebelled against God and set themselves up as autonomous or independent from God they lost their relationship with God. Their relationship with God was broken and because of this broken relationship the image of God in man was distorted and defaced.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Ci>FIVE CAPACITIES AFFECTED:\u003C\u002Fi>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>1.     Spiritually our relationship with God is broken.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>2.    Morally we can no longer do the good.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>3.     Rationally we have difficulty discerning the truth and in particular it is impossible for us to discern spiritual truth. \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>4.     Creatively we use our imaginative and creative capacity to make idols and worship them instead of \u003Cu>­­­­\u003C\u002Fu>worshipping God. \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>5.     And relational we tend to love ourselves.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb> \u003Ci>FOUR RELATIONSHIPS BROKEN\u003C\u002Fi>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003Ci>: \u003C\u002Fi>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>-       We are \u003Cb>ENEMIES\u003C\u002Fb> of \u003Cu>­­­­\u003C\u002Fu>God.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>-        Our relationship with others is \u003Cb>BROKEN\u003C\u002Fb> and is manifested in all sorts of interpersonal and societal badness.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>-       Or relationship with the created order is broken as there is \u003Cb>NO LONGER\u003C\u002Fb> this\u003Cb> \u003C\u002Fb>perfect and mutually interdependence.\u003Cb>      \u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>-       Finally man’s relationship with himself is broken as we find ourselves \u003Cb>ALIENATED\u003C\u002Fb> from our true selves.\u003Cb> \u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>III.           \u003C\u002Fb>\u003Cb>\u003Cu>REDEMPTION\u003C\u002Fu>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The third plot movement is redemption. In Genesis chapter 3 immediately after the first man and woman sinned God promised to send a savior, a Messiah, a redeemer to crush and destroy sin and Satan and death and bring salvation to God’s image bearers who had now lost their relationship with him. When we come to the gospel we find out that this saviors name is Jesus. \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>\u003Cb>\u003Ci>PROPHECIES OF MESSIAH\u003C\u002Fi>\u003C\u002Fb>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>-       He was born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14)\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>-       Taught God’s truth perfectly (Psalms 78:1-5)\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>-       Lived God’s moral law perfectly (Isaiah 53:9)\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>-       Demonstrated power over sin, sickness and death and even demons. Este es solo un ejemplo que revela que hay algo dentro de cada persona que busca algo más allá de nosotros mismos. Si realmente queremos entender otras religiones del mundo, debemos dar un paso atrás y hacer todo lo posible para aprender sobre las diferentes cosmovisiones que representan estas religiones. Esto significa que hay un dios principal que gobierna sobre toda la creación. Mucha gente cree que todas las diferentes religiones son ideas personales de cómo aprovechar esta fuerza divina cósmica. La palabra para este tipo de idea se llama \"pluralismo\". Todas estas cosas causan problemas a las personas y entre las personas.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>Es en medio de la lucha que las personas comienzan a reflexionar sobre el propósito de su existencia mientras luchan por sobrevivir y comprender el significado de la vida. No es inusual encontrar que muchas personas a lo largo de la historia han utilizado las prácticas religiosas como herramientas en su intento de cambiar las diferentes situaciones en su vida. Una persona que recurre a la religión como una forma de cambiar sus circunstancias ve la religión como funcional. En otras palabras, buscarán a Dios cuando sientan que sus problemas están más allá de su capacidad de ayudarse a sí mismos.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp> \u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>Una visión funcional de la religión es muy diferente de la visión que busca una religión para las afirmaciones de verdad que hace. Parece natural que los humanos solo busquen a Dios cuando las cosas se ponen malas para ellos. Por ejemplo, en la Biblia cristiana, el Dios de Israel advierte a las personas que una vez que vivan vidas cómodas, olvidarán cómo los ha cuidado y guiado durante muchos años (Deut. 8: 10-20). La naturaleza humana no ha cambiado. Cuando las personas se encuentran en problemas, buscan algún tipo de ayuda sobrenatural. Cuando las personas se desesperan, incluso pueden comenzar a hacer promesas salvajes para cambiar la forma en que viven si se cumplen sus demandas. Una vez que se curan o se salvan de cualquier problema, se olvidan convenientemente de Dios y continúan viviendo como lo habían sido.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>Para la persona que piensa que las religiones no son más que un conjunto de rituales que harán algo por ellos al final, parecerá que todas las religiones son simplemente diferentes, fue buscar los mismos resultados finales. Sin embargo, esta es una visión falsa de Dios. Esta es solo una vista superficial porque las religiones son muy diferentes entre sí, en el núcleo. Si somos honestos al respecto, en el fondo todos estamos buscando las respuestas a las grandes preguntas de la vida.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Por qué estoy aquí?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Por qué hay algo aquí?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Existe realmente un ser supremo (Dios)?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Este Dios interactúa con su creación?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Quién es Jesús?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Qué pasa cuando muero?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Por qué necesitaría ser \"salvado\"?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>La forma en que respondemos estas preguntas es en las diferencias de las diversas religiones.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>El budismo dice que no hay Dios, solo un retorno a ser uno con el universo (como una gota de agua que se mezcla en un océano).\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>El hinduismo afirma que hay muchos dioses y que Brahman está en todo y en cada persona, solo necesitan redescubrir a ese dios interno para alcanzar el estado de nirvana (felicidad eterna).\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>Las principales religiones monoteístas (judaísmo, cristianismo e islam) creen en un Dios supremo. Pero, de las tres religiones monoteístas, solo el cristianismo reconoce la difícil situación humana del pecado original.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>La Biblia está llena de ejemplos de cómo la humanidad está muy por debajo de la perfección que la gente ve como el código estándar de valores mencionado anteriormente. Hay un profundo sentido dentro de todas las personas de que somos pecadores. El pecado es algo de lo que la gente no quiere hablar. Todos preferirían creer que los humanos son innatamente \"buenos\" y simplemente son propensos a cometer errores. Desafortunadamente, solo necesitamos mirar el mundo real para ver que los problemas que afectan a la humanidad provienen de mucho más que las personas que cometen errores. Los crímenes contra la humanidad vienen en muchos disfraces diferentes. El alma humana está encerrada en un estado constante de confusión porque siempre nos molesta algo o alguien en nuestras vidas. La Biblia señala que la mente humana siempre está tramando (Génesis 6: 5; Jer. 17: 9). El pecado en su definición más básica significa perder la marca (como un arquero podría perder el ojo del toro). Incluso si hacemos todo lo que parece justo para el mundo exterior, no podemos escapar de nuestros propios pensamientos (Santiago 1: 14-16, 4: 1). Si no podemos escapar de nuestro ser pecaminoso, ¿cómo lograremos la perfección esperada por un Dios justo?\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>¿Cómo lograremos liberarnos de nosotros mismos? Aquí es donde la separación entre el cristianismo y todas las demás religiones se vuelve más evidente. A diferencia de todas las demás religiones, el cristianismo hace afirmaciones de verdad que se basan en la realidad y no en opiniones personales. Todas las demás religiones se basan en alguna forma de sistema de tipo de obras. El cristianismo se basa en una fe de confianza (que no debe confundirse con una fe ciega) (Gálatas 2:16).\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>El cristianismo no se basa en un conjunto de rituales y \"buenas obras\" para salvar a alguien del infierno, como hacen otras religiones. Dios estableció sus pautas que están registradas en la Biblia para condenarnos (señalarnos) del pecado. No hay forma de que alguien pueda seguir sus expectativas de perfección debido al pecado dentro de nosotros (Rom. 3:20). Sus expectativas están ahí porque Dios, como Creador, sabe cómo estamos formados y que cualquier cambio de sus pautas causará dolor y conflictos en nuestras vidas. Nuestro pecado también puede conducir a otros a un comportamiento pecaminoso. El pecado es esclavitud y finalmente conduce a la muerte (Santiago 1:15). Lleva a la muerte porque nos separa de la fuente de la vida, Dios.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>Porque Dios es absolutamente perfecto, Él es absolutamente igual de bueno. Cualquier desviación de sus pautas representa nuestro rechazo de él. Cuando rechazamos a Dios, pecamos contra Él. Si Dios ha de juzgar con justicia, al final no habrá favoritismo (Gálatas 2: 6). Las buenas obras de un cristiano deben representar su amor por Dios, no para obtener ninguna ventaja en su reino. El Creador no puede ser manipulado. Dios nos llama a amarlo (Deut. 6: 5-9) porque desea una relación personal con él.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>Cuanto mejor conocemos a Dios, más entendemos sus caminos. Cuanto mejor conocemos a Dios, más conscientes somos de su amor por nosotros. Cuanto mejor conocemos a Dios, más lo amamos por lo que es, y comenzamos a vivir para complacerlo. Debido a la tendencia de la humanidad a pecar, fue necesario que Dios enviara un Salvador porque no podemos redimirnos. Jesús es la oferta de salvación de Dios para el mundo, pero se requiere que las personas respondan conociendo a Dios a través de Cristo (Juan 6:44, 14: 6-8), y eso requiere leer las Escrituras a medida que buscas comprensión.\u003C\u002Fp> \u003Cp>\u003Cbr \u002F>Ninguna otra religión reconoce el pecado innato. Nous pouvons connaître et aimer Dieu et être connus et aimés de Dieu, d’une manière dont les animaux, les plantes et les arbres ne le peuvent pas. \u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>2)    Une autre capacité que nous possédons est morale. Nous pouvons connaître le bien et le mal et faire le bien et le mal d’une manière que les animaux, les arbres et les plantes ne le peuvent pas.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>3)    La troisième capacité est notre capacité rationnelle . Nous pouvons utiliser notre intellect d’une manière que le reste de l’ordre créé ne le peut pas. Vous êtes peut-être, par exemple, dans les sciences, la raison pour laquelle vous pouvez apprécier ces matières et la raison pour laquelle vous pouvez utiliser ces capacités rationnelles est que Dieu vous a créé à son image et à sa ressemblance.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>4)    La quatrième capacité est la créativité. La raison pour laquelle vous pouvez utiliser votre imagination et apprécier des choses comme les films, la musique, la littérature, l’architecture, le design graphique, est que Dieu vous a donné ces capacités créatives et qu’elles font partie du fait d’être fait à l’image et à la ressemblance de Dieu.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>5)    Une cinquième capacité est la relationnalité. Lorsqu’ils se rebellèrent contre Dieu et s’établirent comme autonomes ou indépendants de Dieu, ils perdirent leur relation avec Dieu. Dans Genèse chapitre 3, immédiatement après que le premier homme et la première femme eurent péché, Dieu promit d’envoyer un sauveur, un Messie, un rédempteur pour écraser et détruire le péché, Satan et la mort et apporter le salut aux porteurs de l’image de Dieu qui avaient maintenant perdu leur relation avec lui. Les Écritures nous enseignent que lorsque Jésus s’est placé sous cette croix et a été crucifié, il prenait sur ses épaules les péchés du monde afin que nous puissions être sauvés.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>La bonne nouvelle pour vous, c’est que lorsque vous croyez en lui, vous avez l’union avec Dieu et la vie éternelle.
